The new Dutch hub is for the import and distribution of Elco electric outboards
Italian power transmission and electric propulsion specialist Transfluid SpA has opened a strategic hub in the Netherlands for the import and distribution of Elco outboard motors from the US.
With this new alliance, Transfluid is positioning itself as a complete solution for marine propulsion, responding to all market needs with an offering that includes Elco outboards in addition to its inboard electric motors and hybrid systems.
“The marine electric propulsion market is experiencing an unprecedented expansion phase in Europe, thanks to the introduction of increasingly stringent environmental regulations and the increase in consumer awareness of the importance of reducing emissions,” says Transfluid in a statement. “The hub in the Netherlands strengthens Transfluid’s position as a major player in the sustainable mobility sector, allowing for a faster distribution of Elco outboard motors in the main European markets.”
Elco has over a century of experience in the production of marine electric motors and is recognised for its reliable and environmentally friendly outboards. Its electric motors are designed to meet the needs of those seeking clean and quiet propulsion, perfect for pleasure boats, yachts and other marine applications.
Transfluid’s new Dutch hub will not only improve the availability of these engines in Europe, but will also facilitate customer service and support, ensuring that boats powered by Elco electric motors continue to perform optimally.
