Transfluid and Bellmarine are pleased to announce the delivery of the 1000th electric motor, destined for our E-ship customer in the Netherlands. This important milestone is a key step in our commitment to decarbonizing the maritime sector and deploying sustainable mobility solutions.
The motor chosen for E-ship is the TorqueMaster, one of Bellmarine’s most advanced systems. This DNV-certified marine electric motor is designed for boats of different sizes and applications. It uses permanent magnet motors with an aluminum mechanical gearbox and offers various gear ratio configurations, ensuring easy integration with any type of propeller. It is available with air or liquid cooling, and also in a compact “U drive” version.
The power output of the TorqueMaster ranges from 20 kW to 130 kW, offering flexibility for different operational needs. In addition, the system allows energy regeneration during propeller drag, an innovation that makes it ideal for sailboats, thus improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact
